My Tips for Buying or Selling in Sturbridge Lakes

If you're buying, be ready to move quickly. Half the homes here go under contract within two weeks, and most sell at or above asking, so get pre-approved before you start touring and have your agent set up instant alerts for new Sturbridge Lakes listings. With homes from the late 1970s and 1980s, a thorough home inspection is a must, and ask about the association fee and what the lake and beach access includes.

If you're selling, pricing it right on day one is the biggest thing you control. The homes that sold fastest and above asking were priced to the market from the start, and the ones that sat the longest were the ones that sold under asking. Simple updates and good presentation help too. I can also connect you with trusted handymen and junk removal crews to help get your home ready.
