Hi, I'm Jerry Mac with Keller Williams Realty. If you've read my guide to Palmyra Harbour, you already know one riverfront community in Palmyra. Right next door is another one, called Riverfront, and people mix the two up all the time. They're neighbors on the Delaware River, but they're different communities with different homes, ages and price points.

Welcome to Riverfront

Riverfront (officially The Riverfront at Palmyra) is the newer of the two. The three-story, connected townhomes were built around 2000, and listings describe two- and three-bedroom layouts, attached garages, gas fireplaces, and private patios or decks, many with river views. It sits in Palmyra Borough in Burlington County and is served by Palmyra Borough Public Schools.

Riverfront vs. Palmyra Harbour

The quickest way to tell them apart: Palmyra Harbour is the older, more affordable community with a pool and tennis courts, and Riverfront is the newer one with garages, bigger floor plans and a fitness center. Here they are side by side.

Association fees and what they cover differ from home to home, so always ask for the current fee and the list of what's included before you make an offer.

Life at Riverfront

Riverfront is built around the water. Listings mention walking and biking trails, a community fitness center, kayaking and beach access, and a lot of the homes have river views from a patio or deck. Inside, the townhomes I reviewed run from about 1,150 to over 2,000 square feet, with gas fireplaces, updated kitchens and baths, and an attached garage, which is something you won't find in most of Palmyra Harbour.

Riverfront townhomes with balconies and a lawn running down to the Delaware River

For getting around, listings point to easy access to Philadelphia and mention the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge area and the Riverton Yacht Club nearby, plus shops, dining and parks in town.

The association fee is where Riverfront differs most from the Harbour. In the listings I saw it ran about $236 to $249 a month. One listing says it covers exterior building and roof maintenance, and another mentions lawn care, snow removal and trash, so confirm exactly what's included for the specific home.

What Homes Cost at Riverfront

Riverfront sits well above Palmyra Harbour on price. As of October 9, 2026, there were 13 closed sales in the past 12 months and four homes on the market, and ten of the 13 sales were three-bedroom homes.

Measure Closed sales (past 12 months) On the market now

Buyers had a little more room to negotiate here than at Palmyra Harbour. The median home sold for 99.3% of its list price, and seven of the 13 sold below it. The three two-bedroom homes sold for $245,000 to $285,000, and the three-bedroom homes sold for $288,000 to $362,500.

Every home is different, and condition and lot make a big difference, so use these as a starting point rather than a promise. If you'd like a number for a specific address, I'm glad to run it for you.

Is Riverfront Right for You?

If you want a newer townhome, a garage, a third bedroom or a lower monthly association fee, Riverfront is worth a look. If your budget is closer to the low-to-mid $200s and you like a pool, tennis and a boat ramp, Palmyra Harbour may fit better. The two sit side by side, so it's easy to tour both in one afternoon and compare them in person.

If you're thinking of selling in either community, I'd love to give you a free, honest opinion of what your home could bring.
