Living in Voorhees, NJ
Voorhees is a Camden County township of about 31,000 residents, next door to Cherry Hill. It was formed in 1899 and named for Governor Foster McGowan Voorhees, who signed the law creating it.
Schools
Voorhees Township Public Schools serves pre-K through 8th grade in five schools, and high school students attend Eastern Regional High School, which Voorhees shares with Berlin Borough and Gibbsboro.
Getting Around
Route 73 is the main road through town, County Routes 544 and 561 connect to neighboring towns, and the PATCO Speedline's Lindenwold station is close by for trips into Philadelphia.
