Apple Hill is one of Cherry Hill's smaller neighborhoods, and homes don't come up for sale here very often. In the past year, only 6 homes sold, at a median price of $532,500, and the typical home sold in about a week.
I'm Jerry Mac with Keller Williams Realty, and I've been selling homes in Cherry Hill for 23 years. In this guide I'll walk you through the homes, what they've been selling for, the schools, and what I tell buyers and sellers who ask me about Apple Hill.

Apple Hill is a classic 1950s Cherry Hill neighborhood. Every home that sold here in the past year, and the one on the market now, was built in 1957.
With homes this age, condition and updates make a big difference in price. One smaller home of about 1,200 square feet sold for $252,000, while the larger, updated homes sold for $525,000 to $595,000.
The typical Apple Hill home sold for $532,500 over the past year, in about a week and a little above asking.
| Apple Hill, past 12 months | |
|---|---|
| Homes sold | 6 |
| Median sale price | $532,500 |
| Price range | $252,000 to $595,000 |
| Median price per square foot | About $309 |
| Typical days on market | About 8 |
| Typical sale price vs. asking | About 102.5% |
Five of the six homes sold between $465,000 and $595,000. The $252,000 sale pulls the average price ($491,000) below the median, so the median is the better guide to what a typical Apple Hill home brings.
Homes moved quickly. Five of the six were on the market 15 days or less, and the other took about eight weeks. Three sold above their asking price, one sold right at asking, and two sold below. Sellers helped with closing costs on three of the six, from about $3,800 to $10,000. At the time of writing in October 2026, one home was on the market in Apple Hill, listed at about $425,000.
With only six sales, one house can move the numbers quite a bit, so treat these figures as a guide. I'm happy to give you a current look at a specific home.

If you're buying, be ready. Homes here don't come up often, and most of the recent sales were on the market two weeks or less, so get pre-approved before you start looking and have your agent set up instant alerts for new Apple Hill listings. With homes about 70 years old, a thorough home inspection is a must. If this would be your first home, read my guide for first-time home buyers in South Jersey.
If you're selling, the limited supply works in your favor, but pricing still matters. Three of the six homes sold above asking, and the home that took about eight weeks still sold within 1% of its list price. Simple updates and good presentation help too. I can also connect you with trusted handymen and junk removal crews to help get your home ready. Learn more about how I help homeowners sell their homes in Cherry Hill.
